New version PhotomatixPro

Since a couple of weeks, a new version of Photomatix is available. This is the software that I use for HDR. The improvement of this version number 4 is enormous, compared to the previous one. The processing speed seems to be much faster than it was, and the program has become much more intuitive. With that I mean that many installed presets are immediately visualised when you start to work with a HDR-image (see below).



Almost together with this upgrade of Photomatix, a new competitor showed up: Nik Software, with HDR EfexPro. It really looks good, and I would have liked to tell you how it works. But, the only thing that happened was that my Photoshop CS5 crashed time after time when using this new software. So I uninstalled....
